Start a journey of Change

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Deciding to commence therapy can be a tough call, and it can be quite difficult to make a decision about who to see. I have put together some pointers to inform and support your decision. I hope it's useful.

Clinical Supervision

Support your practice and your clients change process. Whether you are a trainee or experienced practitioner, individual and group supervision are available to enrich your story as well as theirs.

About Me

My name is Ronen Stilman and I am a psychotherapist offering professional and confidential counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples, as well as clinical supervision for trainees and practitioners. I work with people from all walks of life, race, gender and sexual orientation. In addition to English, I am fluent in Hebrew and Spanish and would be happy to accommodate if you are more comfortable speaking in these languages.

Professional Standards

I am registered with UKATA and ITAA as a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA-P) and a Certified Transactional Analyst with Psychotherapy specialty (CTA-P). I have an MSc in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy and trained as a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

I am an accredited member of UK Council for Psychotherapy as well as an accredited UK professional body member of COSCA and listed on their register, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. I am committed to the high standards of these organisation by abiding to their code of ethics and complaints procedures.

My style is relaxed, open and direct.

I have a keen interest in humans, and how we relate and identify. More specifically, I am very much interested in narrative change, as in the story you tell yourself about yourself, and how it connects and shapes the interpersonal (how you relate to others), the intrapsychic (how you relate to yourself) and the system (culture, society, organisations). Narrative approach draws upon the rich and diverse schools of Transactional Analysis whilst maintaining its simple and accessible spirit – Our story and its context within the cultural environment.

In terms of modality I sit firmly in the Humanistic school of thought, integrating the richness and diversity of Transactional Analysis, Existential, Systemic, Relational, Psychodynamic, Behavioural and Mindfulness ideas and practice.
